Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Chazity DeShayes. I am a licensed cosmetologist. I have grown up in the beauty industry... literally! My mom opened up a nail and tanning salon when she was 19. A few years down the road she opened up a full service salon. The salon was basically home away from home for me. I was constantly watching and learning from my mom and all the women that worked in the salon. From checking guests in to mixing color... middle school me was living my best life. Years later I applied for the cosmetology program at the WCCC. I was accepted in and started my journey my junior year of high school. Senior year quickly came to an end and on May 9th 2012  I officially became a licensed cosmetologist. This industry has been and always will be such a huge part of my life. I am so proud to say I am still so passionate about cosmetology and grateful to call this my job. But like my grandpa always says if you love what you're doing you will never work a day in your life!
